2008 was a huge success.
We had 39
of our finest ponds, waterfalls, pondless waterfalls and water gardens open for a self guided tour.
As we did in 2008 all proceeds from the Parade will go to benefit
Shepherd's Table
celebrating their 26th year of providing food and services to the needy in our local community.
This year we are scaling back on the number of ponds to have them in a more cohesive group so they can be toured more easily. Most of the ponds will be in the Montgomery and Howard Counties of Maryland.

Tickets may be purchases online or at Seibel's Restaurant in Burtonsville, Sun Nurseries in Woodbine or Johnson's Garden in Laytonsville.
Tickets are $15 per person. Kids are free.
Once the tickets are purchased, we receive a notification and then an email will be sent to you with the directions to the ponds and a little bit about each pond. We will post a general location of the ponds as they are confirmed.
Kelly Billing of Maryland Aquatic Nursery conducted a book signing of her book, "The Lotus, Know it, Grow it" at one of our Burtonsville locations. We are very excited that Kelly offered to participate in this event. We are hoping to convince Kelly to join us again this year.
Yes, She has agreed! Kelly will bring her book to our Allnutt Rd location in Burtonsville along with lotus' for sale. Kelly has also co-authored a new book, "The Water Gardener's Bible: A Step by Step Guide to Building, Planting"... w/ Ben Helm.
Perfect for those of us into water gardening.
